Under NI 45-106: financial assets over $1M (excluding your primary residence), OR net assets over $5M, OR income of $200K solo / $300K with a spouse for two consecutive years with a reasonable expectation it continues.
What does Accredited Investor status give you?
The widest exempt-market access, often without hard amount caps. But KYC and suitability are still required — the status only opens the door; the suitability of any investment is assessed separately.
